Did you know that a PLC route into college is still open - even if you got your place via CAO?

If your results are not what you hoped or you're not ready for college then you can still apply for a PLC (Post Leaving Cert) course. New college applications can be made through CAO again next year with a new set of points - upto 390. College places can often be deferred a year - a great chance to build experience, save funds and make sure the correct career path has been chosen.

Carlow IFET is just 1km up the road from the IT Carlow campus (right beside their new sports campus) and offers some great PLC courses. It also has links to some  IT Carlow courses that even allow a round zero offer.
